We do E2E machine quilting to turn that finished handiwork into a family treasure.
We make to order baby quilts and wall art. Select your size, colour and style. This is a great place to share design ideas, inspirations and professional advice.

We supply batting and my most popular is a 60% wool / 40% polyester product which is prewashed, preshrunk and fully machine washable and I proudly support our Australian producers.

TO GET THE BEST RESULTS
Machine quilting should compliment your quilt top as well as bringing the quilt sandwich together.
Ideally, the top and borders should be sitting flat and squared.
Take extra care when placing blocks on the diagonal, as the borders will have more stretch.
Consider pressing seams open to avoid extra bulk for quilting.
Trim excess threads from the back and front of quilt top and backing.
Dark threads or fraying edges can be trapped under stitching and these may show up in light or white areas.

Backing and batting should be 4" larger than quilt top on all sides.
Backing should have straight edges all around, with all creases washed and ironed out. Joins should sit smoothly and selvage edges removed.
Your batting selection should be determined by how you will be using your quilt, will it be on a bed and regularly washed or displayed on a wall. If you supply your own batting, please ensure the quality is fitting for your work of art.
